The Abeille Ruche School is a faith-based institution that prides itself on rearing well disciplined and joyful children through intimate teaching. Although it is founded upon Christian values, the school welcomes and accommodates children of all religions. It follows the curriculum of the Western Cape Education Department, while still maintaining a small classroom setting, as one would find when being home schooled. The school accommodates children from grade 1 to grade 9, with no more than 15 children per class. This ensures that no child becomes ‘lost’ within the system. The school is subsequently, divided into two separate campuses, where grade 1 to grade 4 classes are presented at the Century City campus and grade 5 to grade 9 classes are presented at the Monte Vista campus. The name of the school, meaning beehive in French, establishes the values most sought after at Abeille Ruche. These values being, harmony and cooperation in the hopes of building a proficient product. This product being a knowledgeable, confident and disciplined child.
